Timothy Bristol

I am a 29 year old college student. I have an associates degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am currently working towards a Bachelors degree in History, with a minor in political science. My career goals (outside of being mayor of course) are to become a high school teacher, and teach children about the importance of our constitution, and the founding of our country.

 I have lived in Shelton most of my life. I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world. We live together in the "Pine Rock Park" area of Shelton. I currently Work at the Panera Bread, in Shelton, where you can find me most of the time when I'm not in class.I am also an aspiring writer, film director, and political commentator. I have produced a few independent films, and will always enjoy writing.

 Politics and history have been a passion of mine since I was young. I always had a special interest in American history, especally America's political history. Our country has a very unique history, when it comes to politics. From the writing of the Constitution, to the Bill of Rights, and our elections.  The politics of our past are very much tied to the politics of now.

My political ideas are very simple, the government is suppose to serve the people. We are all to be treated equally, and have the same rights under our country's laws. I also believe in honestly and openness in politics, we should have a government that hears the needs of it's people and provides honest policy.
